Maths Class ~ Part 6

*Procrastinating...* Urgh i don't want to do my english analysis... I hate english!
Quite like maths though... *nugde nugde* Well not really now since we are doing algebra... My algebra skills + algebraic equations and anything else that involves algebra = Epic fail.

Well i haven't posted in ages... Not like it matters since no one reads this anyway xD
But i thought i would post one, since Ziming has a link to my blog on hers ;D Thanks Zimmy! Btw, damn you and your unlimited broadband, and getting me addicted to "Friend" by Big Bang T_T


Anyways, i actually can't remember any major funny things that happened in recent maths classes except the lesson on Friday xD Damn me and my forgetful memory -__- Oh well, crap happens eventually muhahaha ;D

Friday 31st of July, 4th period [after lunch]

Hmm i shall introduce you guys to Charlene, [My badminton buddy!! We won the Doubles Title for the Wellington Regional Junior Championships =) Shotties Charlene!] Well she recently just joined our row/group [or temporary joined/blended in... Or maybe she just decided to sit with us to take advantage of the smartness of the group... Well that's what i do when i need help xD] . And she's chinese. Yuss 3 out of the 4 chinese students in our year sitting in the same row/group ^^ She's ditching us to go to Hong Kong to study for 6 months T_T, her maths skills will be hardout as when she comes back hahaha! Asians ftw!

Well anyways, something tragic happened and our teacher decided to suddenly ditch our class for 3 or 4 lessons...*strokes imaginary beard/chin* And left our class in the hands of this Irish guy? His accent is so hard to understand -__- When did he come to teach us anyways Ziming? Did he come on Wednesday [Where i missed out on the fun stuff in school] when me and Charlene were away on the championship?? :O <--- Supposed to be my famous drawn :O faces. *confuzzled*

Ok, well since we have this Irish guy as a teacher, King Julian aka Nileesha ditched us to go all high at another group that includes her followers ~ Sonja and Matisse. So then comes Charlene who sits with me and Ziming. 4 words - Churr Boii, chinese geeeeeeeeee! Ohkay that didn't even make sense, but who gives a crap. The lesson starts off with the Irish teacher [what is his name btw..?] giving us a easy quiz, while most of us just chatted... Anyways, us chinese group finished and checked the answers [Ziming's answers xD TC Ziming... TC...] before the teacher explained the answers to us, no one really listened anyways. And Nileesha keeps going back and forth to Ziming to see if her answers are right ;D Nileesha: Ziming, what did you get for Q.1? Oh yup i got that right then haha. This is annoying going back and forth -_-" Charlene you won't be sitting there anymore. Charlene: Why?? :O
Lol then Sonja starts having a 'Strings' throwing fight with me while the teacher is helping others xD *chucks them at me* Sonja: Amanda, do you want these? *cracks up* Me: Umm no thanks... What did you do with them? *Glances around and throws them back* Sonja: NOTHING *giggles and the 'strings' land on the ground* Me: *Wtf face and just leaves them on the floor*
Well then us asian groups keeps chatting... Well mainly me and Charlene while Ziming does her work xD *Chats about ATC, Hong Kong, badminton, what happened to me and Michael [hobbo like starts chatting to us and we were like wtf and walked away]* xD
Next up, the Irish teacher gives us some factorising work... Zomg it was so easy that we decided not to do it haha. Ziming: Charlene, can i see your chinese essay? Charlene: Sure *starts reading it out loud and asking questions about it to Ziming* Lmao then the teachers comes to us... Probably with a wtf face, and is like "you guys should be doing your factorising work...* Ziming: But mister, it's too easy for us. Irish teacher: Fine you can do excerise 28.8 * walks away* Lol Charlene continues to read her chinese essay xD
*starts doing the factorising work... Bored... Very bored...* Ziming: This is too easy, i'm going to do my mexican sheet*
BELL RINGS!! Me: *throws the 'strings' at Sonja while she was in full concentration mode* Sonja: *jerks up and nearly screams and walks up to us* LMAO. Charlene: Sonja, I'd laugh if you threw the 'strings' and they didn't hit any of us!
Sonja: *Throws the 'strings' and they hit the wall behind us* Me and Charlene: *full on cracks up*

Maths Class ~ Part 5

Hmm i hope i have got the title right.... ;/
Anyways i said i would write about my science class last week, but really i can't be stuffed cause it takes me ages to remember what happened a week later....

Random stuff that happened in my maths class recently.... Dun Dunn Dunnnn....

• Hmm where do we begin...? Well Ziming was singing "Born to be Wild" and she sounded like a dying cat [that's what she describes her singing as] LOL it was so funny cause it was out of tune.... And everyone [especially me] was telling her to shut up xD and she wouldn't until the teacher came -_-
• Our teacher comes in and rises a issue about something or rather about the class being dirty... And randomly starts talking to us about how 1022 [the other students in the other class of the stream class... Did that make sense??] has a vocabulary notebook for maths, science and english. And my class [1052] is like wtf, what vocabulary book? Teacher: Now these books are for 1022 [who apparently have bad vocabalury... Are you guys [1052] jealous? Class: *cracks up* Ziming: On behalf of 1052 as their form captain, i think i speak for all of us when i say that we are all definatley not jealous of their vocabulary notebook. Does that mean we're smarter than 1022? Amanda: Hmm probably lol Everyone in 1052: *talks too much* Teacher: Are you girls doing any work from the worksheets? I don't think you can be jealous of tress....

Maths ~ Part 4

Ok this actually won't make sense unless i explain the whole story to you xD


Well this all started on the last Friday... the 29th maybe? Can't remember -_-" This doesn't really fit into the maths part of the story yet by the way xD
It all began when my friends and I were all really excited for Queens Birthday Weekend!! YUSS!! 3 days of weekend :O Anyways, my friend Sonja, Nileesha and Matisse started talking in weird accents. [NOT BEING RACIST TO ANYONE because those people are indian, scottish etc anyways]1st it was a Scottish accent, 2nd it was a Indian accent, now it was a Madagascan accent :O [I think they started talking in these accents because of the science video did made about drought, floods, lightening and thunder... And we were talking in accents? Well yeah it takes too long to explain everything on this]
It got really weird when we were back at school on tuesday when they kept talking in the Madagascan accents me and my other friends [also apart of our movie] Emma and Clara were really weirded out... Well Nileesha became 'King Jillian' and Sonja became ********** involves her last name, and she would kill me if i wrote her name on my blog where everyone can see it + same with Matisse. Lol, and they are lemurs?? And the mean people are tigers. Don't ask me how this came to be please -_-"


Finally it's maths time ~ You probably aren't excited 'cause it's not very funny really ;D Oh well read it anyways...

*Maths ~ Period 3, sitting in our 'asian group' as explained in the last post, doing Statistics work*
We got given a stats project which took half the lesson to explain and i was soo bored, got explained to us that we have to do a project about our school canteen etc blah blah blah.
Next we got forced to do 'mean [mean as in the average] word problems' by our teacher, which were supposed to really push us our brains limit... It was actually pretty hard, and i don't think my group was really concentrating except for the 'a class of 30 score test means was 65, and a class of 25 mean was 70. What is the mean of both classes combined?' THIS QUESTION IS NOT ACCURATELY WRITTEN RIGHT Well it was something like that. Me and Nileesha did the simple (65+70)/2=69. But Ziming did the actual way which was complicated and i can't be stuffed writing it down. And the answer ended up being 68.9 [Ask her if you want http://www.zimsbloglikewtf.blogspot.com]
LOL Ziming ended up saying or doing something that i can't remember which made Nileesha angry. [ALL THIS IS SAID IN A TRY HARD MADAGASCAN ACCENT] Nileesha says to Sonja who is across the room: Ziming is now offically a tiger! Sonja: King Jullian! Ohhhh she must be mean like my brother! :O. Nileesha: Yeahhh! These questions are hard, at least you get to do the work in blue book! Sonja: Yeahh! Statistics isn't in our Madagascan language! Amanda and Ziming: *laughs* *Lunch bell rings* Ellie: YUSS!! Lunch! xD

Well hopefully this all makes sense...

More funny times in Maths

• Amanda: ZOMG what's that?! *points to something [i can't remember what it was]* Ellie: Errmmm i don't know? Sylvie: What does ZOMG mean? Like what does the Z represent?
  
  Amanda and Joelle at the same time: Ziming, oh my gosh!! Ziming: *hahahaha - Ziming's awesome laugh* Everyone else: *laughs* [Thus, i now use ZOMG more than OMG, cause it sounds cooler and has a weird meaning behind it] xD
• So in Term 2, our new topic was Patterns and Relations? So yeah, that's all graphs, tables, algebra - well partly... Anyways, we had table and graph work for homework. Ziming and Ellie didn't do their homework [Rebels much?! LOL] Anyways, our teacher called them both up to give draw up their examples on the whiteboard... Yeahhh they got the harder question to do. So they ended up doing figuring out the tables of points in their head + panicking [Ellie: Ohh crap, whats the answer to this?! Ziming: I don't know! Ms can we use a calculator?] at the same time with the whole class watching them! Hahaha our teacher made them sit down after taking to long to figure out the table of points for the graph ;D
• Hmmmm i think we were doing time and speed graphs(??) Well i can't remember -_-" Well Ziming got called up to give her example of how a speed graph for archery would look like... And it was a interesting graph... Our teacher: *confuzzled face* The archery graph is WRONG. Who did the archery graph? Ziming: Ms, it is right, i think... I can explain *explains all this stuff* Teacher: Noo Ziming, it is still wrong, i'll explain *class listens to all this stuff for like 10mins* So therefore, or should i say three dots in a tringle shape Ziming your archery graph is wrong. Ziming: Noooooooooooooo!! Whole class: *Cracks up*

This one happened this week on Wednesday? We'll just say recently.
So the desks were moved into smaller groups or should i say rows... 3 desks = a group/row, but our group is still a group cause we are either behind or in front of the rest of the people in our group [hope that made sense...]. Haha Ziming and I [Amanda, hope you didn't forget my name already] always sat next to each other, and Nileesha decided to sit with our row xD. Me and Ziming: Yeahh boii! [Our class tends to say Yeah boii! I have no idea how it started] Asian group ftw! Sylvie: Heyy that's not cool, i'm also asian... [she's not, she's white. I'm not being racist btw] Ziming and Nileesha: Noo your not! Sylvie: Yeah i am! My sister and dad called me asian cause only me and Ziming got full marks in our maths test! Ziming, Me, Nileesha: *laughs* Me: Hey our row is made of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, overall smartest people in our class... Excluding Sylvie haha! [Ziming 1st, Nileesha 2nd, Me and Sylvie tied 3rd]. Syvlie: *gives us a evil look* Ziming: Shame Sylvie! Hahahaha


Hmm that's all the time i have left, so i will update more later or when i'm bothered ;D
And i'm thinking of just writing down all the fun/funny/awkward times i have in all my classes xD

Maths Class ~ Part 2

Hmm now where was i?
Oh yeah i got put in into the higher maths class [i am not up myself]

This would probably sound really weird as these maths blogs are probably about the fun, funny and awkward moments [simply inside jokes, that might not make any sense at all] that i and my maths group have had, and will be having... Well that's if i can actually be bothered to update this everytime something interesting happens...

First of all... i will introduce who is in my maths group and how we became a group ;D

• Being put into the 'indepedent' maths groups with my fellow classmates: Ziming, Sylvie, Nileesha, Ellie and Joelle xD Pretty much got put in this group by our numbers pretest.
• Oh we also have the awesomest maths teacher too =]

Overall nicknames [or been called by, by our teacher] for my group:

• Ziming ~Tian Tian
• Amanda [me] ~ Lee.Y, Aman, girl
• Ellie ~ Ella
• Sylvie ~ Stephanie, "some other person"
• Joelle ~ Joel
• Nileesha ~ "You, you, you, what's your name??" [She forgot her name on the first day back of Term 2]
• And calls everyone "you"

Funny moments [not in order, just writing as it comes to my head]

• Being called Lee.Y by our teacher, and been asked a question using both names. "Lee.Y, what is the answer to this question? Oops i meant Amanda! So Lee.Y... What is it? I mean Amanda! Hmm at least i can correct myself now..." *confused look on my face* + *whole class goes slient for 10 seconds and cracks up*

• *3rd class period ~ after interval/morning tea* We were doing fractions, and were all confuzzled about this one complicated problem. Whole group contributing ideas of how to solve it: "Wouldn't you have to....... "[can't remember what the rest of my group said] But Nileesha: "Noooooo! You have to leave the top numbers the same, and add the bottom numbers! *even more confuzzled faces* Ziming: "Nileesha.. What did you eat for morning tea...?" Nileesha: "Errr a brownie?" Sylvie: "It must of been a hash brownie!" Everyone else: *laughs* Ellie: "Do you guys even know what a hash brownie is?" *Nileesha draws a hash key and shows it to us, and everyone cracks up* Ellie: "No it's drugs, so that means you ate a brownie fulled with drugs... Ooooohhhh Nileesha!!" Everyone else: "Oooohhh Nileesha!! *Cracks up* Our teacher: "the group in the middle, shut up and do your work! I can't teach with the noise you all are bringing to my classroom!" *Everyone goes silent, then starts talking again*

Maths Class ~ Part 1

Hmm where do i begin...?
I guess i'll have to start from the beginning of the year...

Basically we had a unexpected maths test on the first day back at school and it was like ZOMGness [will explain ZOMGness later] because i didn't study at all in the Christmas holidays -_-, now i have learnt my lesson and should at least study maths xD
From that, i got put into the cabbage maths class [low maths class] because of my test results, and everyone was like "WTF? Amanda's in the cabbage class? That's impossible!" For the next 3 days, i went all depressed and quiet on everyone because i've never been in a low class for anything or failed a test... [I felt really dumb... I realised that stream classes really put people down =( ]Well except one algebra test last year T_T. I pretty much cried when i got home that day i had my first maths lesson, and didn't tell my parents cause their asians... You DO NOT want to fail a test or get a low score in anything when you have asian parents lol... As i said before, i went depressed on everyone for the 3 days we didn't have maths. On the 4th day we had a maths lesson... It involved a pre-test for numbers - i finished that in like half a haour and waited for everyone else to finish... It was boring as! The teacher treated us like children [no offence to her], and she ended teaching us how to do simple fraction equations -_-. Hmm the next day i got put in the high maths group from my pre-test results so i was happy ;D Yay!
